Mrs. Kelly Kanetkar

Kelly Kanetkar started her teaching career in the early 1990s after earning a BA in Secondary Education (Comprehensive Communications) from the University of Akron, Ohio.  She has had an eclectic career in education, teaching English, speech, and drama in Cincinnati Public Schools; teaching ESL and serving as the MYP Coordinator at the American School of Bombay, India; teaching upper level English at St. Croix Country Day School in the US Virgin Islands; and most recently serving as Director of College Counseling and AP English teacher at Evansville Day School in Evansville, Indiana.  Mrs. Kanetkar is beginning her fourth year of teaching Dual Credit English at KCA and holds an MA in English from Ohio University.  Mrs. Kanetkar sponsors the Book Club and Current Events for UIL.  She can be reached at kkanetk@bmtisd.com.
