Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
6:45 AM - doors open
4:30 PM - doors close and lock / students escorted outside the building after tutorials
Students are not supervised by school employees outside of those hours. Students left on campus outside of those hours will be reported to CPS and BISD PD for abandonment.
Parents and student drivers are not permitted to enter the staff parking area for any reason. Parents picking up students or visiting the campus can park in the half circle drive between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Parent drop off - enter the parent drop off/pick up lane by heading southeast on Ave. A from College St. and taking a right into the parent drop off line (see below). Exit the parent drop off by taking a right onto Ave. A. Parents will not be permitted to take a left onto Ave. A.
Skip the line - for those that want to skip the line, park on Craig St. or Ave. C and have your student walk to your vehicle. Parents are not permitted to park on Ave. A or in the student parking lots on Blanchette.
Student drivers - if a parking pass has been obtained, park in the student parking lot on Blanchette St. and walk to the main front entrance of the building.
Bus riders - Drop off and pick up will be in front of the new gym. Bus riders will enter and exit the main front entrance of the building. Buses will leave the campus at 3:06 PM each day.
Morning arrival - Students will report directly to the cafeteria or auditorium until dismissed to report to the first class of the day. Students may not enter any other area of the building without a pass from a member of the staff.
Afternoon dismissal - All students will exit the main front doors of the building upon dismissal at 3:00 PM and report to their designated area for departure (buses, student parking, parent pick up, walkers).
Any student staying for tutorials (3:15 PM - 4:15 PM) must re-enter the building no later than 3:15 or they will not be permitted to attend. Parents and students need to arrange for students to be picked up no later than 4:30. Students that remain after 4:30 will not be permitted to stay for tutorials in the future.
